Balloons don't last forever! The length of time they last depends on various factors - the main two being what the balloon is made from (eg latex or foil) and whether they are filled with helium or air. Temperature and climate conditions are the next main factors in how long they will last. Heat will cause helium to expand and potentially pop balloons, whereas the cold will cause helium to contract and balloons will shrink/deflate.

The following is a general guide but all balloons will last best in a moderate temperature controlled environment.

AIR FILLED BALLOONS will generally last weeks if they are indoors, and out of the sun and extreme temperatures. Sun, wind and rain will impact their condition and how well they last.

HELIUM FILLED BALLOONS are a little more complicated!

• 11" LATEX BALLOONS will float for 12-16 hours and need to be picked up on the day of your event. Hi Float will extend the life of your latex balloons for 2-3 days depending on weather and temperature conditions.
• FOIL BALLOONS will float for up to 1 week. These can be picked up the day before needed.
• CONFETTI BALLOONS will float for a few days. These can be picked up the day before if need be but are always at their best on the day of inflation.
• FOIL ORBS will float for 1 week or more. These can be picked up the day before needed.
• GUMBALLS will float for one week or more. These can be picked up the day before needed.

For standard balloons and arrangements, you can order directly through our website. You will need to have at least 2 days until your order date to order online.

Alternatively, you can give us a call or come in store during opening hours to order. You can also still order for same or next day pick up by coming in store or giving us a call.

In most cases - yes! To order online you must have at least 2 days until your order date, but that doesn't mean you can't get balloons on the same day!

Simply give us a call or come in store and unless we are crazy busy with pre-orders, we will sort you out! We do recommend pre-ordering for weekends to avoid delay, but that doesn't mean it isn't possible!

Also, please be aware that not all balloon options can be done on the spot and some must be pre-ordered. For example - confetti balloons and latex with Hi Float need to sit in store to set for a couple of hours so can't be done on the spot.

After we settle in to our new shop front and develop systems and procedures we plan to offer delivery. We are not currently set up for it, however if you do require delivery get in touch and we will see what we can do.

We are located at 3/122 Terralong Street Kiama. You will find us at the back of the arcade behind Butcher's Nook and next door to JD's Haircare, with convenient parking right out the back!

We sure will! We know we might not stock exactly what you are after, so we can inflate balloons purchased elsewhere. A few points to note when it comes to this:

• we suggest you to check our stock first as we may already have what you are after!
• be cautious where you are purchasing from - not all balloons are created equal! When it comes to cheap quality balloons, we may advise not to use them.
• as they are not our balloons we cannot guarentee the quality of them. If they pop or there is an issue with them, you will still be required to pay for the helium.

Yes we do! We have a small range of essential party products like birthday candles, paper plates and tablecloths, etc, as well as cards, wrap and gift packaging, and our favourite home fragrance brand Palm Beach Collection.

Whilst we might be a new business, we are not new to the balloon scene! You might recognise us from our long standing local family business, House2Home Kiama which closed its doors in January 2025. My parents who owned the business retired, and I started Bunches Balloon Boutique! I have over 10 years experience with balloons and over 20 years small business experience!

We understand unexpected things pop up in life! If you need to postpone or cancel your order for any reason, please let us know ASAP. Cancelled orders will be issued with a store credit, or we can postpone to a new date pending availability.

We may be unable to cancel a balloon order within 48-72 hours of order date and time if we have already begun inflation, but we will do our best to work with you whenever possible.

We do not provide refunds for change of mind or circumstance.
